We uncover the significance in a genuine and simple approach. By cultivating autochthonous grape varieties, we recognize that our role is to act as bridge between our culture and nature that surrounds us. Every grape tells a tale of sun on the harvest, of the land that soaked in rain and of the life of the vine that lived through the year with all its previous experience. At the same time, we revive tradition and use state of the art tools, allowing all natural elements from the vineyard and grapes to reach our senses.

By undertaking controlled processing and fermentation methods we avoid imposing our will, but instead we allow nature to handle this process in the best possible way. We use the latest methods for careful processing of grapes with the sole purpose of preserving the authenticity of the fruit. And when our wine is placed in barrels for aging, it does not sleep. It matures and grows through the aromas imparted by the barrel, reaching the ultimate conclusion of its tale.

Once the wine is in the glass, the tale begins to unfold. That is when the taste reflects back everything that has nurtured the grapes: the taste of the sun, the soul of the earth and the labour of our hands. We bring the autochthonous grape varieties back to their native land through every wine we make, just like the animals presented on our labels return to their natural home. Together, they tell a story about the riches of our Zupa. Every bottle is filled with unique character and identity – an identity entwined with the tones of nature and the surrounding mountains.
